Payroll
Management |
The
Payroll allows for payroll accounting
for every employee based on salary,
benefits, and individual deductions.
The Payroll is fully integrated with
the accounting package. The rates
in all Canadian provinces are covered.
Employees' cumulative pay can be displayed
on screen or printed on paper in report
form at any time. Each pay period
is detailed in terms of earnings,
deductions at source, and employer
contributions.
Reports, statements,
lists of active and/or inactive employees,
and monthly and annual salary lists
can also be printed.
Group
management
The use of groups makes it possible
to set up general-ledger accounts
for recording the pay of various groups
of employees. Each group's pay is
posted to a different account, which
allows you to see the earnings of
different employee categories.
Management
of earnings and deductions
You can customize the way your salaries
are handled through full control over
earnings and deductions. Union dues,
garnished wages, RRSPs, and group
insurance can all be handled.
Employee
record
There is a separate record for each
employee that contains detailed information
(name, address, position, salary,
etc.). An alphanumeric employee number
serves to organize the records for
quick and easy access later. Every
employee is also categorized as active
or inactive, based on whether or not
they are currently employed by your
company.
Pay
slip and/or cheque printing
The format editor allows you to print
pay slips and/or cheques based on
your printing criteria and choice
of time for the pay period concerned.
Fund
transfers
ACTION allows you to create a file
that contains the information that
your bank needs in order to make direct
deposits. This file must then be forwarded
to your bank.
Monthly
and annual list
The monthly list allows you to see
the amounts of the deductions at source
and employer contributions that must
be remitted to the government. The
total for a given month is compiled
and displayed as a list.
Record
of employment
Employees who resign or are laid off
need a record of employment in order
to collect employment insurance benefits.
With ACTION, you can calculate total
earnings to date and print them in
a format that you determine with the
format editor.
Management
of cumulatives
Year-to-date earnings and deductions
are compiled and displayed so that
you can see total hours worked and
the pay earned by each employee. These
figures are valid from January 1 to
December 31. They can be used to print
records of employment as well as tax
information slips.
Printed
or electronic Relevé 1 and
T4 slips
Because all gainfully employed Québecers
must file federal and provincial tax
returns every year, employers are
obliged to provide them with Relevé
1 and T4 slips. With ACTION, you can
print these slips in the format required
by each government. They can be adjusted
easily with the format editor whenever
the government makes changes, so that
printing them becomes a very quick
and easy task.
