Job description
Develop new business relationships with new clients according to market sectors (vertical) and/or geographical sectors;
Promote ESI among potential clients and partners;
Evaluate and understand the clients’ issues in order to fully recognise potential opportunities and to recommend innovating technological solutions (aided by technical specialists);
Perform studies and produce reports demonstrating the advantages of the technological solutions proposed by ESI (be they in the form of executive summaries or other, more comprehensive documents).
Perform a follow-through of projects.
Requirements
Excellent client/partner network;
Solid experience in sales and client relations;
Ability to manage an opportunity (from the qualification stage to after-sales service, including the stages of proposition and signing);
“Sense” of business and understand the language of business in the IT sector;
During interview, the account manager will need to demonstrate competence by means of a presentation of his or her history of major accomplishments and by presenting an action plan with regard to a future with ESI Technologies.
Technical and general requirements
Knowledge in the field of networking and integration solutions (Security, Infrastructure, Storage, Microsoft solutions, etc.);
Understanding of and ability to summarily describe the following solutions: SAN, NAS, high-availability environments, clusterization, business continuity, etc.
Understanding of and ability to summarily describe the range of solutions proposed by important industry players: Microsoft, Solaris, Cisco, Checkpoint, Symantec, HP, NetApp, etc.
Assets
Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written);
Have a university degree or CEGEP diploma in Business Administration or another diploma of equivalent study;
Own a car.
