It’s safe to say that 2020 was an extraordinary year. Both personally and professionally, our lives have all been affected to varying degrees by the global Covid-19 pandemic. As with everything else, there have been pros and cons to this “new normal” we have had to deal with. At ESI, as with many companies, the concept of full-time teleworking was new to most of us. This way of working was a challenge. Our employees adapted to a new routine, a new way of working and a new lifestyle. We are pleased and proud to report that our employees have once again risen to the challenge – and this is worthy of recognition! Some say that teleworking leads to greater productivity because there are fewer distractions. Others say that it contributes to a better balance between personal and professional life, offering greater flexibility in time management. And of course, some employees miss going to the office and interacting with colleagues in person, rather than virtually. Whatever the case may be, the fact of the matter is that we have all had to make the best of our new reality, stay productive and keep the ball rolling – and we have ! ESI would like to take the time to thank all its employees for the daily hard work that goes into offering our customers the best possible service.
